Mary Mac DalhkeMedium: Printmaking
Mary Mac is a Printmaking artist who received her professional training at Valdosta State University in Georgia. She continues to take printmaking and other art classes at the Kirkland Arts Center here in Kirkland. She has also been a continuing student at the Kirkland Arts Center for the past eight years. She has led printmaking demonstrations there as well. Mary Mac has also been working with promoting other artists as well. She is the Vice President of the Board of Directors at Parklane. She has Curated and/or Chaired several Art shows in the past year, including: Parklane Gallery "Around the Block", Eastside Association of Fine Arts "Annual Juried Abstract Show", Kirkland Arts Center "Snow Ball" and ReDux 2011 : Pop Art. She Volunteers regularly at the the Kirkland Art Center Store at Parkplace. Mary Mac has given back to the Arts Community by donating to art auctions including Pratt, Artists Trust, Kirkland Arts Center, Community Canvas and Evergreen. She has also created and led art classes for Parents of Children with Autism. |
