I have been in and out of this grand brick building that houses the Kirkland Arts Center for most of my adult life.  I took classes, taught classes and was the first 'paid' director here in the  'seventies' when it was known as the Creative Arts League (CAL ).  The experiences I had here were the launching pad for me to the University of Washington where I was a graduate student earning a doctorate and then teaching in both the School of Art and the College of Education.  Now I am back in my old stomping grounds at KAC, joyously creating images in both the painting and printmaking studios. Do come upstairs and take part in the creativity this wonderful place offers! Enjoy!
